804 is a popular sub-base material used for many purposes. Typically 804 is used for all paved or gravel areas prior to laying your finished product. You will need a base of approximately 5cm. This should be well compacted with a whacker or roller to provide a level and firm surface. A one tonne bag should cover approx. 15 sq metres.
